In the early 1960’s, Wilton College conducted a course of child raising using orphans from a local orphanage. Henry House was one such orphan, and this story follows him into adulthood. Henry struggles with commitment issues and his relationship experiences with his “moms,” girlfriends, and co-workers.

This was very well-liked. We had a lengthy discussion of how child raising has changed over the years and how Henry was treated as a baby/child affected his adult relationships. We also discussed at Henry’s need for a father figure as one was missing from his childhood. We gave this book 7 Bees.
